St. Mary's is very excited to welcome Erin Lynch to our school community. She will be joining our team as the MS teacher and will be the teacher piloting our new Blended Learning program. Miss Lynch has a rich variety of experiences teaching which include teaching 4th grade for the Bozeman public schools where she had a 1:1 ratio of students and Chromebooks. She has taught combined grades of 3rd-6th. She also has experience with an outdoor education organization.  She has experience with teaching in every content area, but she is especially fond of science and math. Miss Lynch has a Master's degree in Science Education.  In addition to these assets, Erin also brings with her experience with project-based learning. All of these skills and experiences give us very good reason to be excited and looking forward to the school year and the learning that will take place for our 6th- 8th graders in Miss Lynch's classroom.
Highlights of the new Blended Learning Program for the MS this year:
  • Rosetta Stone Licenses for our 4th-8th graders to develop their World Language skills.
  • Edgenuity Digital Content Provider, ELA and Social Studies courses for our 6th- 8th graders.
  • EdReady MT, through Montana Digital Academy, supplemental resource for our 6th-8th graders for Math content.
  • Skills Navigator from NWEA, a power classroom assessment tool that also curates resources for targeted skills that need improvement, for K-8th.
